 HIV/AIDS PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED
 
1.  Advocacy for access to HIV/AIDS Treatment
 
Donor: South Asia Collaborative Fund/ Tides Foundation 
 
 Output:
 
a. Poster and Pamphlet developed about ARV developed, printed
        and disseminated
b. 5 Groups of young people living with HIV/AIDS Formed
c. HIV/AIDS treatment education provided to 30 young people living with HIV/AIDS
d. Succeeded in pushing the Government to develop HIV/AIDS Treatment centers in Peshawar and Kohat

2. HIV/AIDS - Access to Treatment

Output:
 
a. Organised a Group of 25 Young People living with HIV/AIDS
b. Imparting training to the Group  on HIV/AIDS Treatment and Advocacy
c. Translation the IEC Material in Phase-1 in Urdu 
 
 
 3. Youth Friendly HIV Centers 
 
Support Organisation:   Pakistan AIDS Control Federation 
 
Mission
  To bridge the gap between young people and HIV/AIDS related services
 
Objectives:
 
 i. To advocate for youth friendly and free HIV counseling and treatment
        Centers
ii. To raise awareness among young people about HIV treatment and
         treatment services 
 
Activities:
 
 i. Partnerships were developed with local and national organizations   working on HIV/AIDS to effectively advocate for youth friendly free HIV               counseling and treatment Centers
ii. 30 Advocacy meetings and 10 seminars were conducted with Health
        Ministry, Line Departments, and International Organizations working in
        Pakistan on HIV/AIDS
iii. I.E.C material was developed for raising awareness among young people    about ARVs and HIV treatment
iv. 15 Focus Group Discussions were conducted with young people on HIV
         prevention and treatmen
