CRY is young people membership Organisation, it gives a priority to youth participation at every level and hence it is open to all young people. It is giving a platform for the youth of Pakistan to share and learn with each other. Every young person is invited to participate in the programs of CRY.
Mission
To promote and protect Rights and Responsibilities of young people by organizing them into groups, building their capacity so that they can play their role as agents of change in their communities. Further to lead a prosperous life and build the capacities of the adolescents and youth in their communities
To develop sense of Responsibility among adolescents and young people by organizing them into groups, building their capacities so that they can play their role as agents of change in their communities for promotion of Rights, Responsibilities and Tolerance
Objectives
i. ? To Mobilize/ Organize youth/ adolescents groups at community level.
ii. ? To strengthen the essential competencies, skills, and attitudes of young people to be able to work as agents for change in promotion and protection of Human Rights, Democracy, Peace and Tolerance.
iii. ? To promote and protect Reproductive Rights of Young people and get awareness about body and its safety to reduce high risk sexual behavior among young people and adolescents.

? Young people age limit (15-29 years)
Focus of the Organization:
? Strengthening Coordination and Networking
? Strengthening capacity of adolescents groups on:
i. Promotion and protection of Rights, Responsibilities, Peace Pluralism
and Tolerance
ii. Elimination of abuse and violence against women
iii. Behavioral Interventions to reduce high risks sexual behavior
? Capacity Building in peer to peer Education about safety of body,
STIs, HIV/AIDS

Background:

Coalition for the Rights and Responsibilities of youth is a youth led Organization. It is working for the promotion and Protection of Young peoples/ adolescents Rights and Responsibilities in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan.
The Organization has emerged after visiting its founder Qaisar Ismail to United Nations and participating as under eighteen delegate in the United Nations General Assembly Special Summit (UNGASS)on Children held in 2002 in New York. After his return from the event, he called a meeting of young people and they agreed to work together for promotion Rights and Responsibilities of Young People in North Western Pakistan.
CRY is young people membership organization led by young people themselves. It is Working for promotion rights and Responsibilities among Young people to facilitate them in becoming responsible citizens,. CRY is focusing on Human Rights and Democracy.
i. We live in the North Western Pakistan, now it is called Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. We are neighboring with Tribal areas and Afghanistan.
ii. During Afghan war Religious extremism and Militancy were promoted by Pakistan and its International Allies.
iii. After fall of Soviet Union Pakistan Army continued to provide support to Religious Extremists and Militants. Now our area has become a hub of Islamic Militancy and Extremism.
iv. Young People are motivated and mobilized to join the ranks of Islamic Militants, they are used as Suicide bombers.
v. Because of religious Extremism the young people Sexual and Reproductive Rights are ignored. HIV/AIDS is considered as wrath of God towards bad people.
vi. There is denial, ignorance and stigma in our society because of Religious Extremism.
vii. CRY came in to being to protect and promote Young People Rights and Responsibilities and facilitate them to live their lives as active and responsible citizens.
